Reading zones, arrows and the bottom strip
Zones
Shaded bands mark prices where buyers (green) or sellers (red) acted before. The more solid a band looks, the more evidence the chart has collected for it; pale bands are new or already used. A zone that has been broken stops being drawn as active.
Hover cards
Hover (or tap on a phone) any zone, label or candle to open its card: what it is, when it formed, whether it has been tested, and the plain reason it is on the chart. The arrow switch in the bottom-right corner turns cards on and off.
The bottom strip
Under the price, every candle gets two short readings: FOOTPRINT (which side traded harder inside the candle) and CONTEXT (where the candle happened — at a zone, at a level, in the middle of nowhere). The box at the right end sums up the latest candles as one arrow: ▲ up, ▼ down or ■ neutral.
How to use the arrow
The arrow is a reading of what the market is doing, not an instruction. It is most useful when it agrees with the zone price is at and with the higher timeframe. A ■ means the chart sees no clear side — often the best time to wait. Every decision and every trade is yours.
The three corner switches
- Arrow — hover cards on or off.
- Tag — hide or show all text on the chart at once.
- ? — the chart key: every word, code and colour explained.
