Using the option chain screen
Open it
Press Chain on the toolbar. It always opens for the underlying of the chart you are on — NIFTY, BANKNIFTY and the other F&O underlyings. ↗ opens it in its own window that you can drag to a second screen.
Expiry and strikes
Pick the expiry at the top and how many strikes around the at-the-money strike to show. The ATM row is highlighted and follows the price.
What the columns show
Open interest, today's change in OI, volume, LTP, implied volatility and Greeks for calls and puts. Bars beside the numbers show size at a glance. The key button explains every code and colour in the table.
Views and charts
Switch between the table and the charts: OI by strike, OI change, gamma exposure, the IV smile, the expected move and the payoff of a position. Hover any bar for its numbers.
Levels on the price chart
The strongest chain levels can be drawn on the price chart. On futures charts they are shifted by the futures premium automatically, so they sit on the right price.
Watch an option
Press ★ beside an option to watch it as your own position, with its profit and loss. Click any option price to open that option as its own chart.
