TradingMarble Connector

Places your orders from your own computer or VPS, with your own broker key and your own static IP. Our server never places orders.

1. Download

  • Windows: TradingMarble-Connector.exe (about 90 MB, Node is inside). Double-click it; your browser opens http://127.0.0.1:7470. Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” because the file is new: click More info → Run anyway. Checksum: SHA-256.
  • macOS, Linux or a VPS: open a terminal and run
    curl -fsSL https://tradingmarble.com/downloads/install.sh | bash
    It installs into ~/.tradingmarble-connector only and checks the file's checksum. On a VPS it keeps the connector running all the time, even after a reboot.

On a VPS the connector's screen stays private to the server. Open it from your own computer through SSH: ssh -L 7470:127.0.0.1:7470 user@your-vps-ip, then open http://127.0.0.1:7470.

2. Pair it with your account

In the app, open any chart's ₹ button → Connector → Get a pairing code. Type the 8-digit code into the connector's screen. Set a PIN: your broker keys are locked with it on your machine, and we cannot open them.

3. Get a static IP

SEBI rules require every API order to come from an IP address registered with your broker. Your home internet IP usually changes, so you need one that stays fixed:

  • A small VPS (easiest): any Indian VPS with a fixed public IP (₹300–600 a month) is enough. Install the connector there with the command above.
  • A static IP from your internet provider: Jio Fiber, Airtel Xstream and most broadband providers sell one as an add-on. Ask support for a “static IP”.

To see your current public IP, open the connector's screen: it shows the IP your orders will come from.

4. Register the IP with Upstox

  1. Log in at account.upstox.com/developer/apps and create a new app (or open your existing one).
  2. Redirect URL: http://127.0.0.1:7470/callback.
  3. Add your static IP in the app's IP field and save. A change can take a few minutes to apply.
  4. Copy the API key and secret into the connector's Accounts section, then click Log in to broker. You log in once each trading day; that is a broker rule.

Zerodha, Dhan, Fyers and Angel work the same way: create an API app in the broker's developer page, register your static IP there and use the same redirect URL.

  1. डाउनलोड: Windows पर ऊपर वाली .exe फ़ाइल चलाएँ। Mac / Linux / VPS पर ऊपर दिया गया एक कमांड टर्मिनल में चलाएँ।
  2. जोड़ें: ऐप में चार्ट के ₹ बटन → Connector → Pairing code लें और कनेक्टर में डालें। एक PIN रखें, आपकी ब्रोकर key उसी से आपके कंप्यूटर पर लॉक रहती है।
  3. Static IP: SEBI के नियम से हर API ऑर्डर एक तय (registered) IP से जाना चाहिए। सबसे आसान: ₹300–600 महीने का कोई भारतीय VPS लें और कनेक्टर उसी पर चलाएँ। या अपने इंटरनेट प्रोवाइडर (Jio / Airtel) से “static IP” ऐड-ऑन लें।
  4. Upstox में IP डालें: Upstox developer apps में ऐप बनाएँ, Redirect URL http://127.0.0.1:7470/callback रखें, अपना static IP डालकर सेव करें, फिर API key और secret कनेक्टर में डालें और “Log in to broker” दबाएँ। हर ट्रेडिंग दिन एक बार लॉगिन करना होता है।

Safety

  • Live orders stay off until you switch them on in the connector.
  • You set limits there: lots per order, orders per minute and a daily loss limit.
  • Your SL and target run inside the connector, so they keep working when the browser is closed. The connector itself must stay running.
